Taking the first step towards therapy is a brave decision. I'm here to walk alongside you on that journey — at your pace, without judgement.
Taking the first step towards therapy is a brave decision — and that spirit of courage is at the heart of everything I do. The name Bold Venture Counselling Services reflects my belief that beginning therapy is exactly that: a bold venture. A journey of self-discovery that takes real courage to start.
My role as a counsellor is simply to be there alongside you on that journey, so you never feel like you're facing it alone. I listen without judgement or criticism, and I work at your pace. I believe that every client has within them the capacity for growth and self-understanding — my job is to provide the space and support to help you find it.
Together, we build a relationship of trust, which I see as the foundation of any effective therapy. Whatever brings you here, you'll find a space that is supportive, comfortable, and entirely confidential.
You lead the way. I follow your pace and priorities.
A safe, private space for you to speak freely.
Consistent support, free from criticism or expectation.
You are valued exactly as you are, right now.
Therapy looks different for everyone. Here are some of the areas clients often bring to our sessions — but you don't need to fit neatly into a category to reach out.
Understanding your feelings, experiences, and patterns more deeply. Fostering a clearer sense of who you are.
Building confidence, self-compassion, and a stronger sense of self — at a pace that's right for you.
Developing practical tools for managing stress, anxiety, and emotional challenges in everyday life.
Navigating career changes, relationship difficulties, grief, bereavement, or personal crises.
Improving interpersonal skills, resolving conflict, and better understanding yourself and others.
Working together to develop self-compassion and acceptance, leading to improved well-being.
I offer one-to-one sessions that can take place face-to-face in a private, confidential setting, or via online video call — whichever works best for you.
Sessions are bookable in advance, and I work with you to find a time that fits your life. There's no one-size-fits-all approach here.
I offer a free 10-minute telephone consultation — a relaxed, no-pressure conversation to ask questions, get a feel for how I work, and see if we might be a good fit.
There's no commitment required. Just an open chat.
